A variety of student groups will live at Lavale . Each course will result in successful students being awarded a Symbiosis certificate and transcript. Students may then apply to various institutes with appeals for credit transfer.
The programmes offered at the Symbiosis Summer School are divided into 2 categories:
A programme designed to provide all adults above the age of 18, an intellectually stimulating environment with like-minded people to explore and learn. Participants can choose only one of the following courses at a given time. This is because each course has been uniquely designed and is for 90 hours each and worth 6 credits.

The Symbiosis Pre University Programme offers 10th,11th & 12th standard students an opportunity to cut through the confusion associated with choices regarding their 'after 12th' educational programmes. This programme gives participants a college experience, introduces them to the academic programmes, disciplines, and culture of Symbiosis International University. The first three categories are compulsory for all students. Students will have to select any one of the 4 clusters available in the fourth category.
Academic Skill Development: Students will learn critical skills of reading, writing, learning, time management and research. This component will be designed and taught by SIS.
Career Counselling / Guidance: Workshops and individual sessions will help students learn about their potential, academic options, career prospects, aptitudes, abilities, and personal interests.
Sports & Wellness: The University Sports Board of Symbiosis International University will offer modules on sports, yoga, meditation, fitness and wellness.
Academic Module: Introduction to clusters.
Students will choose one module from available options: (Each module will include a mix of sessions from the different SIU UG institutes)
